Fernando Miranda, RPT, CLT, SAP
Lead Physical Therapist
Fernando has been a physical therapist for the last 16 years. He has experience working in all types of physical therapy settings from acute, to rehab, to home health, to outpatient with children and adults.
He holds certifications in lymphedema and vestibular rehab. Fernando has recently received a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a Masters degree In Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He has also successfully completed the challenging introduction leaders program with Landmark Education. He is also a graduate of Mastery University from Anthony Robbins.
He is committed to giving his patients the best care based on his extensive experience and education of human anatomy, movement, nutrition, psychology, and eastern and western medicine. He is always focused that his patients receive the best possible results.
Fernando lives with his beautiful wife and awesome daughter. He loves exercising, playing sports, dancing, reading, hanging out with friends and family and serving at church.
Miriam Cedeno
Physical Therapist, Yoga & Qigong Instructor
Miriam has been a Physical Therapist for more than 20 years. Her expertise ranges from Orthopedic, women’s health and pelvic floor therapy. From experience she learned that people respond best to treatment that has a holistic approach. She works with her patients one on one and create treatment plans specific to individual needs. The techniques she uses integrate Eastern and Western medicine. She uses Vibroacoustic Therapy, Biomat, MPS Therapy, Essential Oils, Myofascial Release, and she is also our Yoga Instructor for courses we offer in the evenings.

What do you like most about your work ?
I enjoy being part of the process of assisting people to feel and perform at there best. It’s exciting to be part of the healing process. Our patients become like family to us and it feels great at the end of the day to know I made positive difference in the lives of those around me.

I am a Palm Beach State College student of Exercise science and Health Promotion. I am working on earning my Physical Therapist degree. Soon I will be working on other certification such as personal trainer, health coach and group exercise instructor.
I am working on promoting Effective Physical Therapy Inc. online with our social medias, getting our community and specifically places such as schools, parks, and clubs to know about us and our services.
Being the oldest of four kids I have adapted the nature of helping others and the role of being a leader. I love being able to help other heal and feel better about themselves.
On my time off I enjoy playing and watching sports such as soccer, ice hockey and volleyball. I love to dance and go for runs. I enjoy spending time at the beach and going to car meets.
